The idea of eating raw food did not appeal to me until I tasted Shelley's recipes. They are so delicious, filling, and healthy. I have tasted other raw food recipes that all seemed to taste the same—but not Shelley's. Her recipes are so flavorful.
Last year I got very sick. I went on a green drink diet that helped so much. Fortunately Shelley had three different green drink recipes that were delicious and provided such a nice variety. Did I mention healthy!!!
Her chocolate fudge recipe is so fabulous that I keep a batch in my fridge at all times. It is so wonderful to be able to substitute this delicious treat for unhealthy sweets. You'll be impressed when you check out the health benefits in this treat (incredibly high antioxidants and wondrous benefits of coconut oil).
There is a reason Shelley calls her recipes raw food art. They look as good as they taste.

I have been in the raw food community for quite some time now and have had the chance to sample various dishes from those who would consider themselves quite the raw food experts. I have tried many a raw dish and have never experienced anything like that of Shelley Abegg!!! In my mind she has earned the title and has payed the price for what is truly Divine Raw. Hands down she is the expert in merging the conventional world with the raw world. In fact I would say she has conquered and risen above it with her incredible recipes. They offer a rich and heavenly taste which will have you coming back for more.
When I first tried Shelley's almond sugar cookies topped with her raw fudge I almost died they were so good. Even better I ate as many as I wanted and I felt amazing! None of that wow I really shouldn't have eaten all of those cookies or any of the other negative cookie side effects I'm used to. I thought to myself how can something SO sinfully good be so delightfully good for you! Thank you Shelley for letting me eat desert like I'm a kid again. Now I can love my food again and not have to worry about a thing!
I was invited to a BBQ at my friends house. I was worried because I didn't eat anything that they did. Luckily, Shelley made this simply fabulous Ginger Dressing that is to die for. It was the rave of the party!!! I almost felt guilty because everyone wanted to talk to me about the dressing and not to the birthday boy. Needless to say everything turned out great! No one even cared what I didn't eat instead they all wanted to know about what I did! For weeks after I had people calling me to get the recipe. I even had people offer me money if I would bring them some next time I made it!
Have you ever watched the movie Ratatouille when the little mouse is trying to explain the wonderful flavors of food to his friend and he sees lights in the sky and hears music. Well that is the closest I can come to explaining what it is like to tasting one of Shelley's divine creations. They are something that truly defies all explanation.
